A fast-food chain rises above almost every other company in the US when it comes to how much employees love their job.

In-N-Out Burger ranked No. 4 on Glassdoor's list of the best places to work in 2018. In that spot, it beat out Google (No. 5), Lululemon (No. 6), and Microsoft (No. 39).

"Extremely flexible with scheduling, you work with similar personalities so everyone tends to get along, you move up quickly, you genuinely feel appreciated 9 times out 10, free meal every day that you work, great pay and excellent benefits for a rewarding job!" one In-N-Out Burger employee wrote in a Glassdoor review.

In-N-Out is the only restaurant chain in the top 50 companies on Glassdoor's list.

To find the winners of its Employees' Choice Awards, including the best places to work, Glassdoor scans its database of company reviews and ratings from current and former employees. Based on employees' reviews, companies received overall ratings on a scale of one to five, with five representing the most satisfied employees.
